Lego Group is designed for children in early primary school (Years 1 to 3) and typically runs during school holidays at our Sutherland centre.
Our structured group offers a valuable environment for children to develop their language and social skills. With guidance from an experienced speech pathologist, children can experiment with and practice these skills in a safe and supportive setting. Whether neurotypical or neurodivergent, we empower all children to advocate for themselves and get creative.
Lego and other construction activities are fantastic tools for developing social and language skills. Building involves planning, following instructions, executing, and ultimately creating something amazing! By incorporating Lego into our group, we assign specific roles to each child, rotating them with each activity so everyone gets the chance to be a leader or a team player.
